We’ve gathered thoughts and opinions from across our entire agency to address the state of social justice and systemic racism. This is the resulting statement and pledge. It is not perfect, but we believe it accurately reflects our beliefs, and outlines our meaningful actions and commitments. This is our first series of pledges, and far from our last.


 

Observatory joins 600 & Rising’s #CommitToChange

Observatory believes in the mission put forward by 600 & Rising and #CommitToChange to do the work necessary to eradicate systemic racism from the advertising industry and create a more equitable future starting with sharing our company's diversity and inclusion report on an annual basis. As part of our hiring pledge, we commit to reforming hiring practices to increase the amount of Black talent at our company. At least 50% of candidates will be BIPOC, and we will work toward at least 15% of our staff and leadership being Black.
